Privacy policy
This policy explains which personal data we collect when you visit our website or contact us, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what your rights are.

1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What data we collect
- When you fill in a form (quote request, test drive, contact): your name, phone number, e‑mail address, the model you are interested in and your message.
- When you message us on WhatsApp or call us: your number and the content of the conversation.
- When you browse the site: technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, language) through cookies and analytics tools, as described in our Cookie policy.
We do not collect special categories of data and we do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18.
3. Why we use it and on which legal basis
- To answer your request, prepare a quote or arrange a test drive – steps prior to entering into a contract.
- To conclude and perform the sales contract, warranty and after‑sales service – performance of a contract and legal obligations (tax, customs).
- To improve the website and for aggregate statistics – our legitimate interest or your consent for non‑essential cookies.
- To send you commercial information only if you have given consent; you can withdraw it at any time.
4. How long we keep it
Requests from the website are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact if no contract is signed. Contract and invoice data are kept for the period required by tax and commercial law. Analytics data are kept in aggregated form.
5. Who we share it with
Your data is never sold. It may be processed on our behalf by:
- Odoo S.A. – the platform hosting our website and management system (servers within the EU);
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) – when you choose to message us on WhatsApp;
- analytics providers (e.g. Google) – only with your consent to cookies;
- banks, notaries, customs and tax authorities – where required to perform the contract or by law.
When data is transferred outside Albania or the EU we apply the safeguards provided by law (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).
6. Your rights
You have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing, as well as to withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@duacar.al; we reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Albanian Commissioner for the Right to Information and Personal Data Protection (idp.al) or your local supervisory authority.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restrict access to staff who need it, and protect our systems with passwords and authentication. No system is 100 % secure; in the event of an incident we will notify you as required by law.
8. Legal framework and changes
This policy is based on Albanian Law no. 124/2024 “On the protection of personal data” and, for visitors from the EU, on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). We may update it; the current version is always published on this page.
